Divja (zeliščna) kuhinja
Vse dokler človek ni znal upleniti divjadi, je bil nabiralec. Nabiral je plodove in sadeže,
rastlinske brste in ostale rastline. S spremembo prehranskih navad je bil od nabiralništva vse
manj odvisen. Prvinski nagon nam je ostal vse do danes, izgubili pa smo stik z naravo.
Rastlin ne poznamo več, kaj šele, da bi užitne ločili od strupenih.
Narava nam v vsakem letnem času ponuja kakšno zelišče, plod ali sadež, ki ga lahko
zaužijemo. Le poznati ga moramo in seveda tudi znati pravilno uporabiti. S sprehodom v
naravi vas bomo popeljali skozi tradicijo lokalnega zeliščarstva, spoznali boste
najpogostejša zelišča, ki jih uporabljamo v domači kuhinji, jih otipali in povonjali.
Da jih bodo spoznale tudi vaše brbončice, bomo v okrilju ekološkega zeliščnega vrta skupaj
pripravili lokalno jed z zelišči, lahko pa boste poskusili tudi nekaj drugih zeliščnih shrankov.

Program zajema:
– krajši sprehod po Mostu na Soči s predstavitvijo kraja in nabiralništva;
– predstavitev izbranih divjih rastlin in plodov;
– skupno pripravo jedi iz nabranih divjih rastlin;
– degustacijo različnih shrankov na osnovi divje rastočega rastlinja in plodov.

Discovering Local Gastronomy – WILD (HERBAL) KITCHEN
Before humans learned how to hunt, they lived as gatherers. They collected fruits and
berries, plant buds and other edible plants. With the change in dietary habits, humans
became less dependent on foraging. The primal instinct has stayed with us to this day, but
we have lost our connection with nature. We no longer recognize plants; much less can we
tell the edible ones from the poisonous.
Nature provides edible herbs, fruits and berries in every season — we just need to recognize
them and know how to use them properly. During our walk in nature, we will take you
through the tradition of local herbalism. You will get to know the most common herbs used in
traditional cooking, touch them and smell their aromas.
To let your taste buds get to know them too, we will prepare a local herb dish together in the
shelter of the organic herb garden. You will also have the chance to taste a selection of other
herbal preserves and wild plant-based delicacies.

The workshop includes:
– a short walk around Most na Soči with an introduction to the town and foraging traditions;
– presentation of selected wild plants and fruits;
– joint preparation of a dish made from the gathered wild plants;
– tasting of various herbal preserves made from wild-growing plants and fruits.
